With 56,937 total applications, it was well below last year's benchmark of 61,220. It was also below the figure for the Class of 2025: 57,435. The admission rate for the Class of 2027 was significantly higher than for the Class of 2026 — up to 3.41% from a low of 3.19%.

The Early Decision acceptance rate was the lowest in history at 16.5%. There were 44,589 Regular Decision applicants, bringing the acceptance rate for Regular Decision to 4.8%.
